How To Add The CoHost Prefix To Your Show
The CoHost prefix is an excellent tool that you can add to your current hosting provider to gain advanced analytics like demographics (the gender, age, household income, family, pets, interest, social media behaviours of your listeners) and B2B information (what companies and industries are listening to your show). It does so by adding a URL prepend to your current RSS feed so our team can collect similar download records to your hosting provider.
Here's how to add The CoHost Prefix to your current hosting provider:
Art19
To add our prefix to Art19, you will need to contact their team. Copy and paste the template below:
Hi Art19 Team,
I started working with CoHost to gain in-depth audience insights. In order to facilitate this I would like to add this URL prefix to all my enclosure tags: {ADD CoHost prefix link in the field below here}
Please treat it as you would a Podtrac prefix.
Finally, please ensure that the prefix's scheme (HTTPS vs HTTP) matches the scheme of my episode files (and any other prefixes, if applicable).

Audioboom
- Log into your Audioboom account
- Head to “Podcast Settings”
- Scroll down to “Tracking prefix”
- Paste your CoHost prefix in the Tracking prefix field.
- Save and start measuring!
Blubrry
If you use PowerPress:
- Login to your WordPress dashboard
- Navigate to PowerPress > Settings
- Navigate to Advanced. At the bottom of this page you will find the redirect links.
- Click "add another redirect"
- Paste in the CoHost prefix.
If you do not use PowerPress:
- Login to Blubrry.com
- Navigate to the Podcaster Dashboard
- Click on Show in the left sidebar, and then Manage
- Click "3rd Party Prefix Tracking URL"
- Paste in the CoHost prefix.
Buzzsprout
To add our prefix to Buzzsprout, you will need to contact their team. Copy and paste the template below:
Hi Buzzsprout Team,

- Login to your Captivate account
- From your Captivate dashboard click Podcast Settings.
- Scroll down the page to third-party prefixes.
- Paste in your CoHost prefix.
Note: If you are using more than one prefix URL at the same time you will have to separate them with a forward slash, and remove the https:// of subsequent URL's after the first prefix. Example: ADDCOHOSTPREFIXHERE/chtbl.com/track/12597G**/**dts.podtrac.com/redirect.mp3/
Castos
- Follow the directions on this Castos support page.
- Enter the following CoHost prefix link under “Tracking Prefix”
Fireside
- Log in to your podcast’s dashboard on Fireside
- Go to Settings > Advanced
- Go to the the “Third-Party Tracking Prefix” section
- Enter the full CoHost prefix URL below into the field.
- Click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes
Megaphone
- Login to your Megaphone account.
- Navigate to the podcast you want to connect CoHost to.
- After selecting your show, click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
- On the “Podcast Settings” modal, click "Megaphone Settings" tab.
- At the bottom of that page you'll see a "Custom Prefix" section.
- Click the box to "Enable custom prefix for your feed URLs”
- Enter the your CoHost prefix URL below and click save.
Note: If you are using more than one prefix URL at the same time you will have to separate them with a forward slash, and remove the https:// of subsequent URL's after the first prefix. Example: ADDCOHOSTPREFIXHERE/chtbl.com/track/12597G**/**dts.podtrac.com/redirect.mp3/
OmnyStudio
- Go to OmnyStudio.com and login.
- Head over to your show's "Program Settings" page.
- Click the "Content Tab".
- Paste the CoHost prefix URL below in the prefix URL field and save your changes.

Podbean
- To add our prefix to Podbean, you will need to contact their team. Contact Podbean here and copy and paste the template below:
Hi Podbean Team,
Can you please enable the analytics prefix URL option for my show.

- After you get a response that the feature is enabled, log into your Podbean account.
- Go to Settings > Feed and click on the blue "Advanced Feed Settings" link.
- Scroll down and look for "URL prefix".
- Enter the CoHost prefix URL below and don't forget to click "Save".

Libsyn
We are in the process of integrating with Libsyn, which means you cannot use the CoHost prefix there yet.
However, if you want to speed up the process you can contact them via support@libsyn.com and ask them the following:

Simplecast
- Login to your Simplecast account.
- Click on the gear icon beside the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Select "Distribution" in the left side of the menu.
- Click "Advanced Settings'' beneath “Main Feed URL”.
- Locate the "Analytics Prefix'' field and enter your CoHost prefix URL to the "Enclosure URL" field.
- Click save.

SoundCloud
- Login to your SoundCloud account.
- Click on "Content Settings".
- Click on “RSS Feed”.
- Enter your CoHost prefix URL to your show under "Stats Services URL Prefix".
- Don't forget to click "Save".
Spreaker
- Start from the CMS.
- Go to “RSS Settings” of the podcast you would like to track.
- Go to “Tracking URL” at the bottom of the page.
- Add your CoHost prefix URL with a "/" at the end.
- Don’t forget to click “Save”.
- Once saved it will take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Transistor
- Go to your Transistor.fm.
- Select your show.
- Click on "Settings".
- Click on advanced settings.
- Find "Enable CoHost" and put a checkmark to enable it.
- Paste the CoHost prefix URL below.
Pinecast
To add our prefix to Pinecast, you will need to contact their team. Copy and paste the template below:

Unfortunately, Acast doesn't support any prefix URLs. However, most other hosting platforms do and we hope Acast will soon be able to answer all of our requests.
What you can do in the meantime is contact them via email (hello@acast.com) and ask them the following:

Unfortunately, Anchor doesn't support any prefix URLs. However, most other hosting platforms do and we hope Anchor will soon be able to answer all of our requests.
In the meantime, contact them here and request that they allow their users to add prefix URLs.
RedCircle
Unfortunately, RedCircle doesn't support any prefix URLs. However, most other hosting platforms do and we hope RedCircle will soon!

My Hosting Provider Is Not Listed
If your hosting provider is not listed, reach out to them to see whether or not they offer the ability to add a prefix to the enclosure URLs of your RSS feed. Copy and paste the template below:
